How Italian leather earns its patina.

Sourced in Tuscany

We work with a tannery that has been finishing full-grain leather for four generations. Every hide is vegetable-tanned, free of harsh chromium chemicals.

Why patina is a feature

Vegetable-tanned leather darkens, softens and gains depth over time. The case you carry for two years will look nothing like the one you unboxed — and that is the point.

Care that takes seconds

A soft dry cloth is enough. For deeper conditioning, apply a thin layer of natural leather balm every six months. That is the entire ritual.
